Morocco Earthquake Emergency Response
IsraAID's GlobalGiving project documented emergency assistance and recovery work after Morocco's September 2023 earthquake. The funded project remains available as a sourced historical record.

The GlobalGiving project identifies IsraAID as its owning organization and explicitly names the Morocco earthquake. Its reports describe emergency supplies, including water, food, blankets and tents, for communities in the High Atlas region. This source-based connection is stronger than an inference from country alone. [1] [2]
As response needs changed, project updates described child-friendly spaces and water, sanitation and hygiene work, including toilets and showers. The project is marked funded and closed to donations in this catalog. The historical page remains useful for understanding which activities IsraAID reported and how its response developed over time. [2]
GDACS event 1390643 provides the magnitude 6.8 earthquake measurements. IFRC GO separately documents the Moroccan Red Crescent appeal. The event map is an approximate event location, not a map of IsraAID work sites; the appeal's target is not a count of this project's beneficiaries. [3] [4]
